Creating strategy and narratives for global brands be them consumer or business, is central to the offer at Winkreative. Whether our discerning clients are representing emerging or established businesses, they are attracted to our agency for its worldly intelligence, rigorous investigative skills and deep insight to define and grow brands that will drive their businesses’ success. All of our work starts with a strategic foundation and the role of the strategist is to lead or contribute to the creation of the brand, communication or content strategy phase and then to stay alongside both the client and the core creative team to ensure that the work continues to develop in the right way. The strategist on the team is also working closely with the account team to drive growth for both the client’s business and Wink’s.

We value systemic and emotional intelligence, truth seeking and clarity, knowledge and ambition. In addition to a sound academic and professional background, we are interested in meeting people with a curious mind and a worldly perspective, passions beyond work and an eye for design and craft.

The expectations of the strategist’s abilities are multi-fold and include:

  • work on up to 3 projects at any given time, independently or in support of the strategy director
  • employ sound research methodologies adapted for the client brief
  • write discussion guides and conduct interviews
  • participate in and support strategy director in internal work sessions and generate creative ideas
  • develop brand frameworks and narratives
  • develop communication concepts, campaigns, frameworks and plans
  • write creative briefs and hold teams accountable to deliver on them
  • contribute to reviews on design and creative direction
  • deliver written and verbal presentations with clarity, belief in the work and an engaging style
  • demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking
  • take responsibility for the quality of the work being delivered by the team, identify challenges and potential areas of concerns and deal with them as appropriate in partnership with the strategy director

The strategist would be working in project teams and within the strategy department of two full time and one part time strategists – the Strategy Director, Strategist and Experience Strategist – and report to the Strategy Director.

Please note that we are only considering candidates with previous experience in one or more of the following: brand, communication, content and experience strategy and case studies will be required before the interview takes place. These may come from previous employment in agencies or what we would consider a client business.

With application please share at least 3 case studies with clear indication of your role in the work, when you might be available and salary expectations to Elisa Chiodi, Strategy Director, [email protected]
