When deluxe Milanese knitwear brand Avon Celli was purchased by WP Lavori, Winkreative was tasked with breathing new life into their historic identity ahead of their relaunch.
Established in 1922, and renowned for their luxurious fibres and artisanship, Avon Celli have an enduring, and proud, history. Delving into this to understand the essence of the brand, we turned to a vast archive spanning right back to its foundation, including identity, photographic and print references.
Carefully recrafting the original logotype, the new identity pays tribute to the craftsmanship so strongly associated with the brand, and incorporates a system of dots traditionally used in garment labels. Along with the packaging and labels, the new logotype captures the essence of a modern, luxury brand poised for a global comeback.
